What’s this all about?

This Blog is dedicated to an animation seminar led by Marco Rosenberg at the University of Augsburg in Germany. In this seminar a complete animated short film will be produced while the progress is recorded on this blog.

The film is going to be about 7 minutes long and will be made by using the stopmotion technique. Me and the students will pass through the whole production process including idea, storyboard, puppet- and set-construction, animation, editing and sound recording – until there is a finished product.

The goal is to produce a high quality animated short, that can be screened at several festivals. Fame and honour are of course also welcome. :-)

The idea for this seminar originated in a previous animation seminar, which was half theory and half hands-on work. It was a great success with the students and they asked whether there could be a follow-up seminar where they could make a whole movie.

If you want to support our project, please feel free to donate some money. Our budget is really low and we could use every extra Euro or Dollar. Donators will be mentioned in the films credits.
